18-year-old Loyola University Chicago student Sheridan Gorman — a bright young woman from Westchester County, New York, with her whole future ahead — was shot in the head and killed in cold blood while simply walking with friends along Chicago’s lakefront shortly after 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
The masked gunman who ended her life? A 25-year-old Venezuelan illegal migrant named Jose Medina-Medina, now in custody and facing murder charges.
This is not a random tragedy. This is the predictable, deadly result of Joe Biden’s open-border policies that President Donald Trump warned about every single day. Border Patrol caught Medina-Medina on May 9, 2023. The Biden administration let him in. He was later arrested for shoplifting in Chicago on June 19, 2023 — and sanctuary city politicians released him right back onto the streets. Twice this criminal illegal alien was given a free pass by radical Democrats. Now an American teenager is dead.
