Chapter 12 - The Algorithmic Siege

I snatched the tablet from Chloe’s hands. Across every major platform—Facebook, TikTok, Instagram—our pristine AI fashion influencers were broadcasting live. But they weren't reviewing our new luxury partnerships. The Seedance 2.0 deepfakes had been weaponized. Our KOCs were spewing highly illegal, regulated financial scams, explicitly naming APT's top-tier corporate investors as co-conspirators in a massive international Ponzi scheme.

"The engagement is artificial, but the damage is real," Chloe sobbed. "Someone deployed a massive army of black-market Facebook VIA clone accounts. They are spamming the live streams, mass-sharing the deepfakes, and flooding the algorithms with Google-rejected traffic. Meta is already triggering an emergency account review. We are minutes away from a permanent platform ban."

I stared at the screen, a cold, calculated fury igniting in my chest. Vivian Vance didn't just want to ruin my reputation; she wanted to weaponize my own technology against me, burning my empire to the ground in front of the entire world.

By midnight, my corner office was transformed into an impenetrable war room.

Ethan had driven into the city the moment I called, bringing an aura of fierce, protective calm that instantly grounded my racing heart. He stood behind my chair, his hands resting heavily on my shoulders, as we stared at the cascading analytics dashboard. The red warning banners were flashing like a digital apocalypse.

"She’s operating a decentralized botnet," Ethan said, his jaw clenched tight as he analyzed the data traffic. "Vivian went to the darkest online digital marketplaces. She isn't just buying a few VIA clone accounts; she purchased thousands of them. She’s pumping millions of dollars of offshore crypto into this siege."

I didn't bother calling our corporate attorneys. I needed the ghosts in the machine. I initiated a highly encrypted video link. Within seconds, my two most brilliant, off-the-books digital architects—Nguyễn Xuân Tới and Nguyễn Trường Giang—appeared on the massive monitor.

"We are under heavy fire," I said, bypassing all pleasantries. "Vivian Vance has hijacked our Seedance 2.0 protocols. She is using an illicit traffic arbitrage network to flood our platforms with fake news and malicious routing."

Tới adjusted his glasses, his eyes instantly scanning the raw code on his end. "The penetration is incredibly sophisticated, Sarah. She bypassed your standard firewalls by spoofing the IP addresses of your authorized ad agencies."

"Can we sever the connection?" Ethan asked, his voice a low, commanding rumble.

"If we just sever it, she will pivot to a secondary attack vector," Giang explained, his fingers flying across his mechanical keyboard. "We need to trap her. We need to deploy the traffic platform."

"Set the digital sponge," I commanded, a ruthless smile touching my lips. "I want the slink.live architecture to absorb every single malicious hit. Reroute her botnet traffic into a phantom server, and silently scrape the digital signatures of the crypto wallets she’s using to fund the VIA accounts."
