According to the gossip that filtered through my legal team, Claire had absolutely no interest in playing nursemaid to a disgraced, unemployed man. When she realized that the designer bags and luxury vacations were permanently canceled, she packed her things and abandoned him. She tried to return to her old job, but the corporate world is small, and no one wanted to hire a woman whose name was publicly attached to a massive corporate embezzlement scandal.

Daniel tried to call me. He called my cell phone, my office, and even tried to ambush me outside my gym. He left desperate, sobbing voicemails begging for a second chance, claiming he was "confused" and that he had made the biggest mistake of his life. I never answered. I simply forwarded the voicemails to my attorney to use as evidence for a permanent restraining order.

He signed the absolute waiver, surrendering any claim to marital assets just to avoid me pressing federal fraud charges against him.
