Chapter 2 - A Dynasty of Dust

The eviction was a masterpiece of humiliation. Julian and his parents were forced to carry their own hastily packed boxes out the front door under the watchful eyes of my armed security. My neighbors, who had always suspected Julian was a fraud, watched from their porches as the "successful businessman" was tossed onto the curb.

The aftermath was even sweeter. By Monday morning, Julian realized exactly how airtight my legal trap was. Without his company's assets—which my legal team had legally seized over the weekend—his business operations were paralyzed. His forty-two employees, the ones he claimed he was trying to save, were actually absorbed into a new subsidiary company I created, completely cutting Julian out of the picture. I gave them all a raise.

Julian was left with nothing but a worthless LLC and a mountain of personal credit card debt he had accumulated buying luxury gifts for Elena.

Speaking of Elena, the "true love" Julian had planned his new life around evaporated the moment his bank accounts froze. Through the corporate grapevine, I heard she had dumped him by text message on Sunday night when he asked if he could crash on her couch. She told him she "needed a man who could provide stability" and blocked his number.

His parents were in a worse state. The bank, acting on my legal filings, issued the formal foreclosure notice on their home. The people who had laughed while shoving my grandmother's china into a donation box were now scrambling to pack their own lives into cardboard boxes, realizing they were going to have to rent a tiny apartment on a fixed pension.
