PART 2: The Delivery Boy

The sweltering Miami heat radiated off the black asphalt of the parking plaza, but the tension radiating from the crowd was far hotter.
I stood a few feet away from the gleaming black Porsche, the dull ache of my four-hour corporate acquisition meeting still throbbing mercilessly behind my eyes. I was exhausted. I just wanted a simple cup of coffee and the quiet sanctuary of my vehicle.
But my path was blocked.
A woman in a striking, clearly expensive black-and-white designer dress was leaning against the sleek hood of my car. She was posing for a photo, flanked by three friends who were giggling and recording her on their phones.
"Excuse me," I said quietly, keeping my voice perfectly level. "You are leaning on my car."
The woman stopped posing.
She didn't apologize. She didn't move away. Instead, she slowly lowered her designer sunglasses, letting her eyes sweep over my plain, unbranded white shirt and standard slacks. Her expression morphed from mild annoyance to blatant disgust.
"Your car?" she scoffed, her voice loud enough to draw the attention of nearby pedestrians.
"Yes. My car. I need to leave."
Her friends burst into a chorus of mocking laughter.
"Oh my God, he’s serious," one of her friends whispered, holding her phone up higher to make sure I was in the frame.
The woman in the designer dress crossed her arms, her diamond bracelets clinking sharply together. She looked me up and down one more time, as if I were a stain on the pavement.
"This is my car," she declared, her voice dripping with venomous condescension [cite: The media is obsessed with him, but nobody recognizes the exhausted man walking alone without a chauffeur or security team. "I can assure you, it is not."
"Listen to me, buddy," she snapped, stepping slightly forward. "You look like you just finished a shift at a fast-food restaurant. You could deliver packages your whole life and never afford a single tire on this machine." The whispering crowd grew. People were pulling out their own phones now, sensing a viral altercation.
"I am not going to ask you again," I warned her, my voice dropping an octave. "Step away from the vehicle."
May you like
She smirked, a cruel, arrogant curve of her lips. She turned to the crowd, playing directly to her audience.
"If this is actually your Porsche," she announced dramatically, pointing a perfectly manicured finger at the pavement, "I will drop to my knees right here."
