Garrett’s knees buckled. He collapsed onto the carpeted floor of the boardroom, openly weeping as the federal agents hauled his arms behind his back and clicked the heavy steel handcuffs shut.

Penelope tried to run. She scrambled out of her chair, desperately pushing past the investors toward the side door.

"Stop right there, Penelope," I commanded.

She froze, turning back to look at me with wild, terrified eyes. "Rosie, please! He made me do it! He manipulated me! I’m your sister! I’m pregnant!"

"You're a parasite," I corrected her without a single ounce of mercy. "You helped plan my murder so you could steal my company and my life. You can have your baby in a federal penitentiary."

A female agent grabbed Penelope’s arm, reading her her rights as she dragged her out of the room alongside a sobbing, broken Garrett.

I watched the doors close behind them, feeling the crushing, invisible weight of the last three years finally lift from my shoulders. I turned to look at the stunned, speechless board of directors.

"Gentlemen," I said, walking to the head of the table and taking my rightful seat in the CEO's chair. Tobias stood firmly beside me, a silent, unbreakable sentinel. "I apologize for the dramatic interruption to your morning. But as you can see, the reports of my death were greatly exaggerated."

I opened the pristine leather binder sitting in front of me, clicking a pen.

"Now," I smiled, "let’s get back to building ships."
