Chapter 7 - The Virtual Bloodbath

Daniel didn't possess the dignity to simply accept his ruin and fade into the gutter. Stripped of his black cards, his home, and his ego, he resorted to the only weapon cowards truly understand: synthetic warfare. By midnight, the digital assault began, and it was a pathetic, chaotic mess of stolen tactics.

He didn't try to hack my banking infrastructure; he lacked the intelligence for that. Instead, he initiated a massive traffic arbitrage campaign aimed entirely at destroying my public credibility and crashing APT Global's stock before I could officially claim the CEO title. Because standard promotional campaigns for illicit financial smear tactics would be instantly rejected by Google Ads, Daniel utilized underground vendors to bypass the restrictions entirely. He purchased tens of thousands of aged Facebook clone accounts and black-market Instagram profiles, creating an artificial army of digital ghosts.

I stood in my temporary command center, watching the IP heat maps explode across the monitors. Daniel was using advanced AI-assisted content production workflows to generate hyper-realistic Virtual KOCs (Key Opinion Consumers). These deepfakes looked and sounded like terrified former employees and cheated investors, weeping on camera and claiming that I had embezzled millions from the company to fund my lavish new lifestyle.

"He’s routing all the malicious traffic through a centralized, encrypted tracking domain called slink.live," Michael noted, standing right behind me, an immovable anchor in the storm. "He’s trying to drown you in digital smoke before the board of directors meets tomorrow morning."

"He thinks he can use artificial volume to rewrite the truth," I whispered, a dark, predatory smile touching my lips as my fingers flew across the keyboard. "But he is using cheap, rented bot farms and stolen rendering parameters. He just brought a knife to a drone strike."
