Chapter 5: The Banished Queen

The tension in the foyer snapped.
Cut to a wide, dramatic reaction shot. Victoria let out a piercing, hysterical scream of absolute panic. It wasn't the fake distress from earlier; it was the raw, guttural sound of a woman watching her entire life, her billionaire future, and her reputation burn to ash in front of her eyes.
"Richard! No! It's not what it looks like!" Victoria shrieked, backing away, her designer heels slipping clumsily on the polished marble floor. "She set me up! The footage is altered! Richard, you have to listen to me!"
Richard didn't move. He didn't yell. The fury radiating from him was cold and absolute. He raised his hand and pointed directly at Victoria, a gesture dripping with finality and disgust.
"Take her away," Richard commanded, his voice echoing with cold authority. "And pack her things. I want her off my property in ten minutes."
The two imposing Security Guards in black uniforms stepped forward immediately. They didn't ask for permission; they flanked Victoria, each grabbing one of her arms with a firm, uncompromising grip.
"Get your hands off me! I am the lady of this house!" Victoria screamed, thrashing wildly as they lifted her off her feet. "Richard! You can't do this to me!"
They dragged her backward toward the heavy oak doors, her black dress riding up, her dignity entirely stripped away. The foyer echoed with her pathetic, panicked shrieks as she was unceremoniously removed from the world she thought she owned.
In the background, Constance, the older woman in the emerald dress, let out a long, shaky breath, her hands dropping to her sides in pure, shocked relief. She looked at the empty space where the toxic woman had just stood.
Richard turned away from the doors as they slammed shut, cutting off Victoria's screams. He looked down at Maria, who was still kneeling on the floor, staring in stunned silence at the necklace.

Slowly, the billionaire Boss knelt down on the cold marble floor, staining his expensive dark blue suit. He gently picked up the diamond necklace and set it aside. Then, he began picking up Maria's loose coins, her wallet, and her lip balm, carefully placing them back into the brown leather handbag.
He handed the bag back to the weeping maid, his authoritative face softening into an expression of profound apology. The grand foyer was quiet once more, the venom extracted, leaving only the truth shining under the crystal chandelier.
