Chapter 18 - The Slink Protocol

I didn't waste time trying to issue takedown notices to social media platforms. I had to hijack her rendering pipeline. I isolated the specific scene-by-scene prompt structures and the exact character parameters she was inputting to create these fake victims.
"She’s routing the traffic through a centralized, encrypted domain," I explained, my eyes tracking the cascading code. "It’s a highly sophisticated mirror of slink.live. It masks the malicious packets as legitimate digital marketing traffic."
"Can you break the encryption?" David asked, standing right behind me, an immovable anchor in the storm.
"I’m not going to break it. I’m going to poison it," I replied coldly.
I rapidly compiled a self-replicating digital parasite. I disguised the malware packet as a routine background update for her AI character models, perfectly matching the corporate color palette and design language of her front companies.
"I am deploying a Virtual KOC counter-measure," I told David. "We are going to generate a massive fleet of hyper-realistic AI avatars tailored perfectly to intercept her traffic arbitrage. But instead of pushing fake news, our avatars are carrying my parasite. The moment her automated system accepts this prompt update to generate the next wave of deepfakes, the parasite will detonate."
"It will crash her servers?" David asked.
"It won't just crash them," I whispered, hovering my finger over the execute key. "It will strip away her military-grade VPNs, shatter her firewalls, and permanently expose her market-manipulation ledgers to every financial regulator on earth."
I hit the enter key.

The monitors in the kitchen violently flashed green. My malware didn't just infiltrate her system; it ripped her shadow empire entirely apart. I watched in real-time as the parasite devoured her digital footprint, locking her out of her own multi-billion-dollar ledgers.
But apex predators do not surrender when their algorithms fail. They force a physical confrontation.
