Chapter 19 - The Digital Avalanche

I left the unconscious hitmen zip-tied on the floor and walked calmly back to my encrypted terminal. The digital trap was primed, and it was time to drop the guillotine.

I initiated a direct, encrypted video link to Arthur Kensington’s private terminal in Singapore.

For a moment, the screen was black. Then, the video connected. Arthur was sitting in his opulent, wood-paneled office, looking smug and entirely unbothered, anticipating my complete surrender.

“Evelyn,” Arthur smiled, swirling a glass of scotch. “I assume my extraction team has arrived to assist you with the wire transfer?”

“Your team is currently unconscious on my kitchen floor, Arthur,” I replied, my voice echoing with lethal, freezing calm. “And I didn't call to negotiate a transfer. I called to inform you that your bank no longer exists.”

Arthur’s arrogant smirk instantly vanished. “What are you talking about?”

“While you were busy sending thugs to my home, I isolated the hardware parasite you planted in my servers,” I explained, leaning closer to the camera. “I used it to reverse-engineer your network. I have been inside your shadow ledgers for the last three hours. I saw the blood money you wash for the cartels. I saw the ghost offices you registered across the globe.”

“You can't touch those accounts!” Arthur roared, his pristine facade shattering into sheer, unadulterated panic. His hands flew across his keyboard, realizing that he was completely locked out of his own mainframe.

“I already did,” I whispered, dropping the hammer. “I just initiated a high-frequency transfer protocol. I broke your bank’s entire multi-billion-dollar liquid reserve into a hundred thousand micro-transactions. And I funneled the cash directly into the public, verifiable bank accounts of Interpol, the SEC, and your most vicious cartel clients' rivals.”

“You’re draining the depository!” Arthur shrieked, the color completely draining from his face.

“I am executing you with your own rules,” I corrected. “I used the very internal labor regulations you forged to legally trap your ghost office, triggering international financial warrants. I just broadcasted your unredacted client list, complete with your personal GPS coordinates, to every intelligence agency on the planet. Your clients know you lost their money, Arthur. And Interpol knows exactly where you are sitting.”

On the screen, the heavy mahogany doors of Arthur’s Singapore office violently burst open. A tactical team of armed federal police flooded the room, their weapons drawn.

“Arthur Kensington!” the lead agent barked, slamming the billionaire face-first onto his antique desk. “You are under arrest for international money laundering, conspiracy to fund terrorism, and corporate extortion!”

I watched without a single ounce of pity as the untouchable banker was dragged out of his office in heavy steel handcuffs, screaming and sobbing as his trillion-dollar empire collapsed into absolute ruin. I severed the connection, leaving the kitchen in stunning, beautiful silence.
