Chapter 14 - The Global Execution

I stepped over the unconscious mercenaries and walked calmly back to my encrypted terminal. The digital trap was primed, and it was time to drop the guillotine.
I initiated a direct, encrypted video link to the localized IP address I had just unmasked. For a moment, the screen was black. Then, the video connected.
Sitting in a lavish, marble-lined penthouse in Geneva was Alexander Thorne, the untouchable senior partner of the Vanguard Syndicate. He was staring at his own monitors, his immaculate, aristocratic facade completely obliterating into sheer, unadulterated panic as my code systematically deleted his multi-billion-dollar empire.
"Alexander!" I said, my voice echoing with lethal, uncompromising authority. "I assume your extraction team has arrived to assist me with the wire transfer?"
"You crashed the central servers!" Thorne shrieked, sweat pouring down his face as the red emergency lights in his penthouse began to flash. "You are exposing the cartel payrolls!"
"I’m not just exposing them, Alexander," I whispered, leaning closer to the camera. "I am executing a high-frequency transfer protocol. I am breaking your syndicate’s liquid cash into a hundred thousand micro-transactions, and I am funneling it directly into the public, verifiable bank accounts of Interpol and your most vicious international rivals."
"You are destroying a century of wealth!" he sobbed, his hands frantically clawing at his keyboard, completely locked out of his own mainframe.
"You threatened my foundation. You tried to steal the wealth I built to protect vulnerable women," I stated, the absolute truth of my wrath vibrating through the microphone. "You thought you were the king of the digital underworld. But you forgot that I am the one who owns the lights."
I didn't wait for him to beg. On my screen, the heavy mahogany doors of Thorne’s Geneva penthouse violently burst open. A tactical team of armed Swiss federal police flooded the room, their laser sights cutting through the dim light directly onto his chest.

"Alexander Thorne!" the lead agent barked, slamming the billionaire face-first onto his antique desk. "You are under arrest for international money laundering, cyber-terrorism, and corporate extortion!"
I watched without a single ounce of pity as the last remaining venomous root of the shadow syndicate was dragged out of his office in heavy steel handcuffs, sobbing as his empire collapsed into absolute ruin. I severed the connection, leaving our flawless kitchen in stunning, beautiful silence.
