Chapter 9 - The Execution of a Dynasty

The physical threat was neutralized, but I wanted absolute, permanent eradication.

I initiated a direct, encrypted video link to Victoria Mercer’s private terminal in Switzerland. For a moment, the screen was black. Then, the video connected. Victoria was sitting in her opulent, wood-paneled office, her aristocratic face twisted into a mask of pure, unadulterated panic.

"Victoria," I smiled, my voice echoing with lethal, freezing calm. "I assume your extraction team has arrived to assist me with the property transfer?"

"You crashed my central servers!" Victoria shrieked, her immaculate composure completely obliterated. "You are exposing my international payrolls!"

"I’m not just exposing them, Victoria," I said, leaning closer to the camera. "I am executing a high-frequency transfer protocol. I am breaking your syndicate’s liquid cash into ten thousand micro-transactions, and I am funneling it directly into the public, verifiable bank accounts of Interpol and your most vicious cartel rivals."

"You are destroying a century of wealth!" she sobbed, sweat pouring down her face.

"You threatened my foundation," I whispered, the absolute truth of my wrath vibrating through the microphone. "You thought you were the queen of the underworld. But you forgot that I am the one who owns the lights."

I didn't wait for her to beg. On my screen, the heavy mahogany doors of Victoria’s office violently burst open. A tactical team of armed Swiss federal police flooded the room, their laser sights cutting through the dim light directly onto her chest.

"Victoria Mercer!" the lead agent barked, slamming the matriarch face-first onto her antique desk. "You are under arrest for international money laundering, conspiracy to fund terrorism, and corporate extortion!"

I watched without a single ounce of pity as the last remaining venomous root of the Mercer dynasty was dragged out of her office in heavy steel handcuffs, screaming as her trillion-dollar shadow empire collapsed into absolute ruin. I severed the connection, leaving our flawless kitchen in stunning, beautiful silence.
