Before Sebastian could process my words, the ballroom speakers crackled to life. Not with music. With a voice. Deep. Commanding. Terrifying. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." The entire room gasped. They all knew that voice. It belonged to Marcus Sterling. The phantom billionaire. The man who owned the very ground this hotel was built on. "I apologize for the sudden... structural adjustments," the voice echoed. "But it seems there has been a misunderstanding in my ballroom." Sebastian looked at the ceiling. Then back at me. His breathing turned ragged. "You called him 'Dad'..." Sebastian whispered. The realization hit him like a freight train. I offered a slow, chilling smile. "Allow me to introduce myself properly," I said. "I am Aria Sterling." "And you just assaulted the sole heir to the Sterling Empire."
