CHAPTER 3: THE EXHIBITION

Sebastian stumbled backward. His legs literally gave out. He hit the marble floor, staring up at me with pure, unadulterated terror. The same friends who had been laughing with him a minute ago suddenly backed away. Creating a wide, empty circle around him. No one wanted to stand near a dead man walking. "Aria... Ms. Sterling... please," Sebastian begged, holding his trembling hands up. "I didn't know!" "That's the problem, Sebastian," I said, my voice echoing in the dead silence. "You only respect women when you know they have the power to destroy you." I snapped my fingers. The massive crystal chandeliers dimmed. Four giant projector screens dropped from the ceiling. But they didn't show charity auction items. They showed hidden security footage. From a dozen different parties. A dozen different women. Cornered. Harassed. Bruised. All by Sebastian. "You thought you were untouchable," I whispered, walking slowly toward him. "But you were just careless."
