You do not fight a shadow consortium by building a wall. By the time you pour the concrete, they have already poisoned the ground beneath it.
By midnight, our private jet had become a militarized cyber-bunker over the Atlantic. While Vivienne thought we were scrambling to save our sinking stock, Julian and our lead cyber-architects were executing a brilliant counter-measure.
"Vivienne used a highly advanced worm to breach our navigation grid," Julian noted, analyzing the digital footprint. "But she made one fatal error. She left the connection open to monitor our panic."
"Can we reverse the signal?" I asked, my mind operating with surgical precision.

"Better," Julian smiled, a rogue, brilliant expression. "We can send a ghost protocol back through her own tunnel. A digital Trojan horse that will map the Sovereign Consortium's entire black-market network from the inside out."
We didn't just map her network. We stripped it bare. By the time we landed at Heathrow, we had the unredacted offshore ledgers proving Vivienne was using her legitimate shipping lanes to smuggle illegal arms across Eastern Europe.
