Chapter 14 - The Runway ExecutionTo completely destroy a billionaire who operates in the digital shadows, you must drag them into the blinding light and strip them of their illusions of power in front of the entire world.

The Aura Dynamics Global Tech-Fashion Summit was the most exclusive corporate event of the year, held in the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel in New York. Isabella Vance stood at the center podium, bathed in a spotlight, holding court before a sea of Silicon Valley investors, fashion moguls, and the international press. Behind her, a massive, fifty-foot LED screen displayed the countdown to her virtual KOC’s live stream.

I did not hide in the back. I arrived looking like absolute, terrifying supremacy.

I wore a sweeping, backless gown of liquid-emerald silk that caught the ambient light like a weapon. Julian walked beside me in a razor-sharp Tom Ford tuxedo, radiating the lethal, protective energy of an executioner awaiting the word.

The ambient chatter in the ballroom died down instantly as the heavy brass doors swung open. The crowd parted for me in stunned, breathless silence.

When Isabella saw me, her confident, mocking smirk widened. She thought I was here to surrender.

"Claire," Isabella purred into the microphone, ensuring the cameras caught the exchange. "You have a lot of nerve showing your face here, considering the revelations my influencer is about to share with the world."

"I never miss a premiere, Isabella," I said smoothly, stopping precisely three feet from the stage. My voice projected clearly over the silent, echoing ballroom.

"Such a shame your legacy ends tonight," Isabella sneered, looking at her platinum watch. "The live stream is starting."

On the massive screen behind her, the flawlessly rendered virtual KOC appeared, glowing with artificial, high-fashion perfection. The viewer count skyrocketed into the millions.

"Hello, world," the AI spoke, its voice like synthetic velvet. "Tonight, I promised to reveal the truth about Claire and Maison de Lune."

Isabella smiled, crossing her arms in triumph.

But then, the AI’s face twitched. The graphics fractured for a microsecond.

"The truth is," the AI continued, its voice suddenly shifting into a cold, mechanical monotone, "that I do not exist. I am a corporate weapon created by Isabella Vance and Aura Dynamics."

The color completely and utterly drained from Isabella’s face. The untouchable billionaire shattered in a microsecond.

"Shut it down!" Isabella shrieked, turning wildly toward the AV booth. "Cut the feed!"

"You can't cut the feed, Isabella," I announced to the thousands of horrified industry leaders. "Because my team locked you out ten minutes ago."

On the massive screen, the virtual KOC began displaying Aura’s unredacted corporate ledgers.

"To manufacture my popularity," the AI broadcast to twenty million viewers, "Aura Dynamics knowingly purchased illegal shadow traffic from websites rejected by Google advertising, funneling dark money into thousands of Facebook VIA clone accounts to intentionally bypass ethical standards and orchestrate massive corporate defamation."

The ballroom erupted into chaos. Investors were physically backing away from Isabella to avoid the blast radius of her destruction.

"You... you hacked my servers!" Isabella yelled, her aristocratic facade entirely destroyed, her hands trembling violently.

"I didn't hack them. I exposed them," I whispered coldly, stepping up onto the stage.

The heavy doors of the ballroom burst open. A dozen federal agents from the FBI's Cyber Crimes Division marched directly down the aisle.

"Isabella Vance!" the lead agent barked, flashing his badge. "You are under arrest for massive federal wire fraud, market manipulation, and corporate extortion."

Isabella didn't fight. She was completely paralyzed by the sheer, devastating speed of her own ruin. As the agents slapped heavy steel handcuffs onto her wrists, she shot one last, terrified, pleading look at me.

"You haven't won!" she wept as they dragged her off the stage, her billion-dollar empire literally burning to ash beneath her feet.

"I won the moment you thought a mother was a weak target," I replied softly.
