Chapter 19 - The Execution of Geneva

I left the unconscious mercenaries zip-tied in the kitchen and walked calmly back down to the subterranean war room. The digital trap was primed, and it was time to drop the guillotine.

I initiated a direct, encrypted video link to Victor Sterling’s private terminal in Geneva.

For a moment, the screen was black. Then, the video connected. Victor was sitting in his opulent, wood-paneled office, looking smug and entirely unbothered, anticipating my surrender.

“Isabella,” Victor smiled, swirling a glass of scotch. “I assume my extraction team has arrived to assist you with the wire transfer?”

“Your team is currently unconscious on my kitchen floor, Victor,” I replied, my voice echoing with lethal, freezing calm. “And I didn't call to negotiate a transfer. I called to inform you that your bank no longer exists.”

Victor’s arrogant smirk instantly vanished. “What are you talking about?”

“While you were busy sending thugs to my home, I used a synthetic compliance ghost to bypass your quantum encryption,” I explained, leaning closer to the camera. “I have been inside your shadow ledgers for the last three hours. I saw the blood money you wash for the cartels. I saw the accounts you manage for human traffickers.”

“You can't touch those accounts!” Victor roared, his pristine facade shattering into sheer, unadulterated panic. His hands flew across his keyboard, realizing that he was completely locked out of his own mainframe.

“I already did,” I whispered, dropping the hammer. “I just initiated a high-frequency transfer protocol. I broke your bank’s entire multi-billion-dollar liquid reserve into a hundred thousand micro-transactions. And I funneled the cash directly into the public, verifiable bank accounts of Interpol, the SEC, and your most vicious cartel clients' rivals.”

“You’re draining the depository!” Victor shrieked, the color completely draining from his face.

“I am erasing your legacy,” I corrected. “I just broadcasted your unredacted client list, complete with your personal GPS coordinates, to every intelligence agency on the planet. Your clients know you lost their money, Victor. And Interpol knows exactly where you are sitting.”

On the screen, the heavy mahogany doors of Victor’s Geneva office violently burst open. A tactical team of armed Swiss federal police flooded the room, their weapons drawn.

“Victor Sterling!” the lead agent barked, slamming the billionaire face-first onto his antique desk. “You are under arrest for international money laundering, conspiracy to fund terrorism, and corporate extortion!”

I watched without a single ounce of pity as the untouchable banker was dragged out of his office in heavy steel handcuffs, screaming and sobbing as his trillion-dollar empire collapsed into absolute ruin. I severed the connection, leaving the war room in stunning, beautiful silence.
